We have five birthdays to celebrate today and tomorrow. We were hoping to give wishes in person for two of them, but yet another cold may have made that impossible. Nevertheless we practiced the proper song for everyone, and I caught this version here to send to Grandpa Marv in Toronto.
In my opinion, the very best part of the video is the fact that he is licking every last drop of hot chocolate out of his cup in between each line of the song. What can I say? It was cold and we’d just gone for a brisk walk to the neighborhood playground. And who can really blame the guy for figuring that all of you could wait while he finished?
