We had competing weather interests around here for the past few weeks. We’d just had a big lawn overhaul done, including reseeding. This required twice daily watering any day that it didn’t rain. So, of course, we appreciated it whenever Mother Nature took care of a task for us.
On the other hand, the rainy weather kept causing our house painting project to be postponed. Boo. The painters had pressure washed almost a month ago, leaving bare wood exposed wherever paint chips flew off in the process. Not cool. So for that, we cheered for sunshine.
I think in the end it worked out in our favor. We had almost two solid weeks of rainy days, which made our lawn look fabulous, and then almost a week of lovely sunshine in which our house was finally repainted!
Tomorrow I’ll post pictures of the lawn and house, but for now, here are the first glimpses of fun in the sun.
